Environmental Services (EVS) Technician
As an EVS Technician, you'll be a vital part of the care team—maintaining the hospital-grade cleanliness that medical facilities depend on. You'll follow strict infection-control protocols to clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam spaces, and high-touch surfaces, helping prevent healthcare-associated infections.
What You'll Do
- Perform terminal and routine cleaning of patient rooms, exam rooms, ORs, and procedure spaces
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces using EPA-registered, hospital-grade products
- Follow CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission infection-control protocols
- Handle and segregate regulated medical and biohazardous waste safely
- Complete patient room turnovers quickly and thoroughly
- Document completed work and report maintenance or safety issues
What You Bring
- 18 years or older with authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a healthcare environment
- Willingness to complete a background check and required health screenings
- Prior EVS, housekeeping, or healthcare cleaning experience a plus (not required)
